Life is very short

as we age we realize that the years go by faster

this is why we need to tell the ones we love

we love them

accomplish the things we want to

not just dream about them

embrace our passions

instead of letting them slip to the end of the list

just beyond laundry

we must see the places we want to

or stay where we are if it makes us happy

we should do atleast one kind thing a day

instead of planning how were going to save the world

we should believe in ourselves

and not believe what others think of us

we should be honest with ourselves and honest with others

it is easy to count down the minutes till the dreaded experience is over

it is hard to watch the time tick by when you never want to leave

giving up may be easy

but realizing that you need to give up is even harder

you may pursue a life that is not yours for years and be miserable

or you may accept the life that has been given to you

and enjoy each moment of it with no regrets

a man named Ralph sits all day. The leather doesn't seem as comfortable as it appears. He meets new people from moment to moment each one adding more money to his monotonous day. Some stare and wonder how he does the job. Some laugh and carry on and others stimulate him something that keeps him going. he supports his family on the belief that one day things will be better, but this will never happen for ralph. For he lacks the motivation that most cab drivers do, to be what he really wants to be. Will he learn yes, For most could find a sociology degree in driving a cab. he learns about human behavior and societal structure just how most sociologists at western learn, he won't have a piece of paper that says he is trained, however Ralph is trained and he will understand the world unwillingly and he will fear for the life of his  children for what kind of society are we creating for the future.

Walk, Walk

Heart beating Fast,

look left, look right

bright light,

severe pain,

an ending no one saw coming

a mother stares

a father wonders WHY?

a brother breaks

a grandfather prays for the first time in his life

a house is solemn

roommates don't know where to go

friends can't believe this is happening to them

and he sits alone

with his one companion snuggled in his lap

he strokes her fur

but with each stroke

pain strikes through his body like lightening

for he doesn't want to feel

no music for each word reminds him of her

a plate lays beside him

untouched food

for why indulge alone

he closes his eyes tight

for there are no tears left in his heart

but her image forever rolls around in his mind

like a movie he once saw

along time ago

he smells her hair, her perfume

so much that his nose wants to bleed

and they never said goodbye
